   Horny. Of a person at a given moment, not a standing character trait — though 'un bellaco' as a noun does mean someone permanently in that condition.

   The noun bellaquera is both the state and, in music, a whole genre register: a bellaquera is also a song or a party built around it.

Where it comes from

Standard Spanish bellaco means a rogue or a knave. The sexual narrowing is Caribbean and is shared with Puerto Rico, where reggaeton has done most to spread it. Vulgar but not taboo: it appears in song titles and on radio, which mamagüevo does not.
