혼밥 (honbap)

   Eating a meal alone. Once faintly shameful in a culture built on shared dishes, now ordinary — restaurants advertise single-seat counters for it.

Where it comes from

혼자 ('alone') plus 밥 ('rice, meal'). Part of a whole family — 혼술, 혼영, 혼행 — that appeared in the mid-2010s along with the rise of single-person households.
