What it means
Posh, preppy, spoiled. Describes affluent young people and, specifically, a recognisable accent and manner that goes with money in Mexico.
Literally: Strawberry.

Where it comes from
The fruit's associations — sweet, delicate, expensive, slightly artificial — transferred to a social type. Its counterpart is naco, and the two words map a class opposition that runs through a great deal of Mexican humour.
